Course Overview
This is an in-house qualification in line with the National Care Certificate, this is a requirement for anyone working in the care environment such as: Domiciliary care, Care home or Nursing home.
Over the 4 days candidates will learn about the required knowledge and skills to work in a care environment, to ensure you leave feeling confident. Knowing you have the key fundamental skills and knowledge to peruse a career in the prevision of care.
The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors. It’s made up of the 15 minimum standards that should be covered if you are ‘new to care’ and should form part of a robust induction programme.

Entry RequirementsÂ
18 years of age at the start of the program.
Working within a care setting in order to complete a portfolio of evidence and sign off.
