Course Overview
The QA Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification specifically designed to provide candidates with a basic knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations and requirements.
Suitable for all employees, this course is ideal for those who wish to work in environments with hazardous substances, such as healthcare, manufacturing, cleaning, transport, utilities, and office environments.
During this half-day course, learners will develop their understanding of the law relating to hazardous substances in the workplace and the precautions and procedures required to ensure they are properly controlled, as well as learn how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances.

Entry requirements
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training.
There are no other formal entry requirements, but to benefit from the learning, we advise that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or equivalent.
