Course Overview
The QA Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been designed to provide learners with the valuable skills and knowledge required to competently carry out their roles and responsibilities relating to safeguarding.
Ideal for those who have a responsibility for safeguarding and protecting in environments such as the NHS, education, healthcare, social services and those who work in voluntary/unpaid positions, this half day qualification covers all of the key aspects of safeguarding, such as current guidelines and legislation, different forms of abuse and responding to disclosure and suspected abuse.

Entry requirements
Learners must be at least 16 years old on the first day of the training.
There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy.
