Adam Wager
Director & Clinical Lead
Adam is a HCPC-registered Paramedic with over 10 years of frontline experience, including 5 years as a Critical Care Paramedic with a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS). Adam has 16 years experience in the event medical sector.
As the Clinical Lead and Director at North West Medical Solutions, he combines leadership with clinical excellence, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Adam is also a qualified non-medical prescriber with experience in urgent and out-of-hours care, and is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Advanced Practice to further expand his clinical expertise.

Doctor Oliver Harrison
Medical Director
Dr. Oliver Harrison is a Consultant in Anaesthetics and a Prehospital HEMS Consultant working at a major trauma centre. With a strong background in critical care, major trauma, and prehospital emergency medicine, he brings a wealth of clinical leadership to North West Medical Solutions.
Oliver has extensive experience in event medicine and trauma management, and remains active in clinical research, driving innovation and evidence-based practice across NWMS services.

Jane Edwards
Director & Training Lead
Jane Edwards brings over 20 years of experience in education, care, and adult training. She specialises in delivering high-quality training in first aid, safeguarding, and autism awareness, with a strong focus on supporting individuals with special educational needs.
Jane has worked extensively with children and young adults facing communication and behavioural challenges, and provides tailored support to families with complex learning disabilities. Her training style blends professionalism with creativity, drawing on her passion for the outdoors to inspire and engage learners.

Gareth Williams
Operations Manager
Gareth Williams brings a unique mix of military discipline, business leadership, and educational expertise to his role as Operations Manager at NWMS. A former Royal Engineer, he has led teams in both corporate and outdoor environments, and specialises in delivering training in first aid, mental health, and remote response. With a strong focus on leadership, integrity, and practical skill-building, Gareth is dedicated to driving operational excellence and team development across all areas of the business.

Karl Cook
Governace Lead
Karl is an RCEM Credentialled Advanced Clinical Practitioner with a background in emergency medicine at a major trauma centre. A qualified prescriber, he also works in urgent care and has over 16 years’ experience in the event medical sector, including senior roles within St John Ambulance previously.
Karl holds an MSc in Advanced Practice and has a strong interest in research, clinical governance, and education. As an ALS instructor, he brings expertise in policy development, audit, and clinical standards to his role at NWMS.

Hannah Douglas
Office Manager
Hannah brings over 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector, spanning both community and hospital-based care. With a strong background in administration, she plays a key role in managing event operations and supporting the onboarding and training of new staff at NWMS. Known for her organisation and reliability,
Hannah is central to the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Sebastian Modelly
Lead IQA & Quality Assurance Contact
Sebastian is the Lead IQA and Training Administrator at NWMS, bringing a wealth of clinical and educational experience to the team. A former Consultant Nurse with extensive NHS frontline experience, he holds a PhD in research and has worked within the pharmaceutical industry. Sebastian is affiliated with several awarding bodies, including Qualsafe, Nuco, and CIEH, and serves as an OSCE examiner, clinical tutor, and facilitator at multiple universities.
He is also an ILS instructor for the Resuscitation Council and the founder of the charity Time to Listen and Care. With a strong focus on mental health and neurology, Sebastian is deeply committed to research and passionate about developing others through education and mentorship.

Emma Curran
Lead Nurse
Emma Curran is a registered nurse with over 12 years of experience across multiple specialties. She began her career in a major trauma centre on the trauma admissions unit before specialising in trauma and orthopaedics, later transitioning into emergency medicine. Emma is trained in both ALS and EPALS and has developed significant triage expertise over the past three years. Her experience spans the full patient journey—from paediatrics to end-of-life care.
Over the last year, Emma has taken on the role of Lead Nurse at NWMS, where she has played a key role in shaping nursing practice and policy within the pre-hospital environment. She is also the safeguarding lead in her NHS emergency department and remains passionate about protecting vulnerable patients and promoting high standards of care.

Hannah Prosser
Paramedic Trainer
Hannah is a qualified paramedic and experienced pre-hospital care trainer with over 12 years in the field. Starting as a British Red Cross volunteer, she qualified in 2019 and has since worked across frontline services, major events, and police custody settings.
Known for her engaging teaching style, Hannah uses real-world experience to deliver practical, scenario-based training that prepares learners for the demands of pre-hospital care.
